Patras citizens responded to calls for European Revolution Day and gathered at the central St George square where they protested, shouting slogans, dancing, making noise with pots, and hanging banners. Patras, Greece. 29th May 2011
Thousands of Patra's citizens gathered at the central square accepting the call of the European Revolution Day.
Some tents appeared for first time at the center of the square. A lot of people where making rythmic noise with pots, others playing board games on the grass, some others making banners.
This time the speakers were louder than previous times. Shouting slogans could be heard all over the place.
Thousands took part in impromptu open air political debates.
People discussing about their problems, their concerns, their objectives,....their dreams.
The truth is that there was more anger than before.
